Sasvath Ramachandran

Alumnus Sasvath Ramachandran (‘22) currently explores applications of computer science in consulting, and has mentoring as a TA for his lower division Electrical Engineering (EE) classes. Focusing on building a business framework within which to apply salient EE concepts such as VLSI or SoC design, Ramachandran aims to embrace energy-efficient and environmentally-aware design-making methodology as an engineer within the chip design and hardware development space. Since graduating from Harker, he has continued applying skills in public-speaking, presentation, and communication within his speciality of finance, as well as in the broader spectrum of consulting. Furthermore, he utilizes the quick-thinking and creativity cultivated by role-playing practice to approach problems from new perspectives. Ramachandran hopes to continue his involvement with Harker’s DECA community, and is confident that his DECA experiences will impact his future for the better.

Elvis Han

Alumnus Elvis Han (‘22) has taken on many research projects in public health and economics. Specializing at the intersection of private healthcare and public policy, Han seeks to become a consultant and data scientist who can leverage both monetary and fiscal policy as well as his programming and business acumen to create value for every member in the healthcare delivery cycle, beginning with the patients and undeserved. His time at DECA was truly formative, providing clarity and the problem-solving mindset necessary for tackling any problem in every business function. He believed that business is all about human relationships and incentive alignment. Undoubtedly, the innovative and outgoing DECA community has and will continue to inspire him to utilize his skills in business-related projects.

Clarice Wang

Alumna Clarice Wang ('22) has taken on many business data analytics projects at Penn. Specializing at the intersection of business and technology, Wang creates tools for her primarily startup clientele, such as pricing optimization and image generation models. Her time as a DECA member was pivotal, equipping her with the skills to approach problems from a business perspective and to craft comprehensive, effective proposals for clients. Additionally, Wang's ability to network with entrepreneurs and stay up-to-date on the latest industry trends across various sectors has been invaluable. Undoubtedly, the innovative community and environment fostered by DECA have played a significant role in motivating her to pursue business-related projects.
