Introducing your Harker DECA Chapter Advisor, Mr. Glass! Hard-working, positive, and caring, Juston Glass is the Director of the Business and Entrepreneurship Department at Harker. Aside from DECA, he is also the advisor for TEDx, CareerConnect, Investment Club, Podcast Series, BEcon, and Harker Incubator. His favorite part about DECA is seeing students who have previously not won work hard and continue to practice, ultimately winning both events at the next conference.

Introducing our first 2025-26 Co-CEO, Tanvi Sivakumar! Tanvi is a rising senior who loves baking, watercolor painting, and watching TV. Her favorite part of DECA is spending time with her friends during conferences. Over the summer, Tanvi is looking forward to traveling and rock climbing. This year in DECA, Tanvi is excited to meet new people and have fun at states. Fun fact: Cinnamon Toast Crunch is Tanvi’s favorite cereal!

Introducing our second 2025-26 Co-CEO, Amishi Gupta! Amishi is a rising senior who loves economics, gardening, and solving puzzles. Her favorite part of DECA is the last-minute competition prep she does with her friends at conferences. This summer, Amishi had fun baking garlic bread. Amishi is “excited to make this year memorable and the best year of DECA yet with an amazing officer team :)” A fun fact about Amishi is that she has eaten ice cream every day of this summer!

Meet Nathaniel Idicula, Harker DECA’s 2025-26 Vice President of Operations! Nathaniel is a rising junior who likes economics, basketball, and comedy. His favorite part of DECA is hearing his name called for an award on stage. This summer, Nathaniel was very excited to go to Yellowstone. Nathaniel’s looking forward to DECA After Dark at this year’s PowerTrip in Arlington. A fun fact about Nathaniel is that he can play the ukulele.

Meet Harker DECA’s 2025-26 Vice President of Competitions, Abigail Sachse! Abby is a rising junior who loves drawing, eating, and hanging out with her friends. Competing and meeting new people at conferences are her favorite parts of DECA. This summer, Abby participated in a product design program in Pennsylvania. Abby’s looking forward to helping our chapter win more glass next year. Fun fact: Abby has four dogs!

Meet our 2025-26 Vice President of Public Relations, Eden Kelly! Eden is a rising senior who enjoys volleyball and skiing. Her favorite part of DECA is ordering and eating DoorDash at conferences. Over the summer, Eden had lots of fun working on her college applications. This year, she’s excited to continue going to DECA conferences. A fun fact about Eden is that she is an expert driver.

Introducing our 2024-2025 VP of Finance, Vedant Balachandran! Vedant is a rising senior who enjoys cooking, watching TV shows/movies, and doing tech theater. His favorite part of DECA is making props during roleplays. This year he’s looking forward to his internships and Despicable Me 4. A fun fact about Vedant is he has watched Big Bang Theory “too many times”!

Introducing our 2025-26 Director of Finance, David Kelly! David is a rising junior who enjoys playing water polo. His favorite part of DECA last year was completing receipts for our chapter. This summer, David is most excited to visit Paris. As next year’s Director of Finance, David is excited to manage the finances of our chapter. A fun fact about David is that he loves milk.

Introducing Harker DECA's 2025-26 Director of Logistics, Medha Choudhry! Medha is a rising sophomore who likes listening to audiobooks, running, and coding. Her favorite part of DECA is meeting new judges and learning how to connect with them. This summer, Medha enjoyed a trip to Alaska and is also looking forward to starting a research project. Recently, she got Quizlet Plus and is excited to put it to use for DECA next year. A fun fact about Medha is that she loves lemons.

Introducing our 2025-26 Director of Membership, Kai Nishimura! Kai is a rising junior who likes surfing, skateboarding, and track. His favorite part of DECA is being part of the club's huge community. This summer, Kai is very excited to go to Hawaii. Kai is very excited to meet and mentor Harker DECA's new members next year. A fun fact about Kai is that he takes naps in Ikea.

Meet our 2025-26 Director of Testing, Abby Wang! Abby is a rising junior who likes doing research, playing golf, and beekeeping outside of DECA. Her favorite part of DECA is having fun with friends and making new ones at conferences. Visiting Japan was Abby’s favorite thing she did over the summer. This year, Abby is excited to work with the rest of the officer team and meet new members of the Harker DECA chapter. Fun fact: Abby is double jointed in 7 of her fingers!

Introducing Harker DECA’s 2025-26 Director of Writtens, Shiori Lin! Shiori is a rising sophomore who enjoys tennis, drawing, painting, and hanging out with her friends. Her favorite part of DECA is going to Disneyland with her friends. This summer, Shiori enjoyed a trip to Indonesia with her cousins. She’s also very excited to work as a mentor in our chapter’s mentorship program this school year. Fun fact: Shiori has a scuba diving license!

Introducing our 2025-26 Director of Roleplays, Will Hou! Will is a rising sophomore who, outside of DECA, enjoys traveling, golf, music, and watching TV shows. Will’s favorite part of DECA is competing at various DECA conferences and networking with other students. This summer, Will is most excited to go to China. As a new officer for next year, Will is excited to meet the new Harker DECA members and help them succeed at conferences. A fun fact about Will is that he collects TCG cards.

Meet our 2025-26 Director of Community Engagement, Alrisha Chen! Alrisha is a rising sophomore who enjoys playing water polo, going to the beach, traveling, and eating. Her favorite part of DECA is having fun with her friends while competing. This summer, Alrisha visited China for the first time. As an officer, she’s excited to continue competing at DECA conferences and meeting new people. A fun fact about Alrisha is that she collects CDs.

Introducing our 2025-26 Director of Communications, Sofe Jalil! Sofe is a rising sophomore who likes lacrosse and chilling with Toby, her cat. Her favorite part of DECA is the feeling she gets after finishing her final written presentation. This summer, Sofe is shadowing at a veterinary clinic and assisting with animal care. This upcoming DECA year, Sofe is most excited to attend the officer retreat and SCDC. Fun fact: Sofe’s favorite animal is a beaver.

Introducing Harker DECA’s 2025-26 Director of Technology, Colin Li! Colin is a rising junior who likes eating, hiking, and traveling. His favorite part of DECA is meeting new people at conferences. This summer, Colin researched nanoparticle pharmaceuticals in Taiwan. As a new member of the marketing team, Colin is excited to meet new chapter members and help coordinate chapter events. A fun fact about Colin is that he has swam with a shark before.
